Dr. LeFave received his MD at New York Medical College in 2009 and has since completed his surgical residency. He is among a handful of double fellowship trained Board-Certified surgeons in the country in both Minimally Invasive Surgery as well as Colon and Rectal Surgery. He has a particular focus on the surgical cure for colon and rectal cancer, Crohn's disease, and ulcerative colitis. He brings his expertise in minimally invasive, laparoscopic single port, and robotic colorectal surgery, as well as modern techniques for rectal prolapse and fecal incontinence to both the Texas Medical Center and The Woman's Hospital of Texas. His areas of expertise include colon cancer surgery, diverticulitis, ulcerative colitis, J pouch, precancerous polyps, hemorrhoids, anal fissures, pilonidal disease, fecal incontinence and perirectal abscess.
